BIOGRAPHY
My name
is Treina Stauffer and I am a birthmother who was reunited with my
daughter in 1981. She had just given up her first born son and
it was like giving her up all over again. She was comfortable
with her choice and her adoptive parents and myself supported
her in her decision.
Her son was adopted by a loving family and in 2002 she had the opportunity
to meet him and his adopted parents. My husband and I are also grandparents
of a granddaughter through a semi-open adoption plan.
Being part of the adoption triangle has touched my family in many ways.
All the people in our extended families have formed a loving friendship
through
the years. This was not done without sharing, giving and understanding
everyone's needs... along with a few tears along the way.
