Today is the day you will take the first step to – or continue towards finding answers from the past. We will share this Loving Journey with you... be there for support and to answer any questions you may have about your search for someone you long to connect with.

Taking a few simple steps at the beginning of your journey can simplify the process, getting you closer to finding that person in less time.

When you are ready to begin, we recommend to first register with the International Soundex Reunion Registry, which is a non-profit agency that helps reunite families separated by adoption. They help by allowing a person searching for a missing family member to submit their name, along with information about–or the name of the person with whom they wish to reunite into the registry. The desire to be connected is often mutual, and if both parties decide to register, a match can be made. When the Soundex system establishes a ‘match’, both parties are notified. This can prove to be a great shortcut, if the person you wish to find is already looking for you.

The next step is to gather as much information about the person you can. Although we will work with as much or as little information you have, the more pieces of the puzzle we have to work with, the easier it will be to find the person. If you have absolutely no information other than your own name, however, we will still help you.

Why do you need a Confidential Intermediary?

A Confidential Intermediary is an adoption search specialist who is certified by the state court to have access to sealed adoption files. Confidential intermediaries undergo extensive testing to receive such certification and work with all parties involved to ensure a private and mutually respectful reunion. Click here for more on confidential intermediaries and the court petitioning process in the state of Washington.

To find out if your state requires a confidential intermediary and learn more about obtaining adoption records from within your state, visit the Administration for Children and Families web site.

We are here for you...

This is a Journey to give the gift of yourself to those from your past. It is our prayer that the same gift will be given back to you. We will open the doors to give the people in front and behind a welcome embrace. We will conduct your search in a confidential and caring way. We do not disclose any of the secrets while doing the search. There are many resources used throughout the search – too many to list. Each search is very different therefore it is impossible to tell you beforehand how it will be done.

We know that you do not know us from any other person who offers their services. If you wish we can provide you more information and references. We do hope that you will want to get to know us and entrust this special time in your life with us.
